Some things in life are good, Some things in life are bad. But what happens when you have to make a choice of bad vs worse? I guess most of us are not faced with that choice. Most of us do not have to make the choice of bad vs worse and I pray that we may never have to.
What about those of us who have to? Like in the case of divorce. Marriage is a good thing isn't it? Then why do you have to divorce? I won't go into the details but its an example of bad vs worse.
What about a failing business you've built up with your friends. Close friends and you have everyone you know supporting you. Do you just cut it off or carry on? Its bad enough to cut it off because you've invested so much time and money in it but is it worse to carry on? Will you succeed if you carry on? When all signs point into a no direction, its just better to choose the bad and cut your losses instead of moving into a downward spiral.
What about a bad decision made at work to take on a certain customer or program in a certain way or some other technical decision. Bad vs Worse.
Think about it. =)
Its always better to choose bad even if you don't think it that way.
